Humanity.giving helping hand to needy and orphans
Respected members of our society,
A very good morning to you,
I want
present to speech on the topic- ‘Humanity on behalf of isiolo intergrated community development assistance charity based organization baised in isiolo, whose ultimate goal is to help orphans and need children in isiolo county.
We are simply determined to practice humanity,
The most important component of religion is humanity, and as Muslims we must help each other out.
Humanity can simply be defined as the quality of being human. It is the peculiar nature of man by which he is being distinguished from other beings.
Humanity means helping and caring for others. Amongst so many species, humans have the capacity to show love and care and to help others.
Humanity means forgetting your own interests when someone needs your assistance. In Islam teachings on humanity are codified in the Quran and hadiths of our beloved prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). This teaching in summary includes the following
1).Equality: All humans are equal before Allah (S.W), regardless of race, class, nationality, religion, gender, ability, age, or economic status.
2).Dignity: Every man, woman, and child is born with innate dignity conferred by Allah.
3).Respect: Humans must treat one another with full honor, respect, and loving-kindness.
4).Rights of neighbors: Muslims are instructed to treat their neighbors with kindness.
5).Economic welfare: Zakka was made compulsory and obligatory act of worship by Allah. It comes third in the Five pillars of Islam, For anyone to be a true Muslim believer he/she must declare faith by taking Shahada which means that you declare that there is no gods to be worshipped expect Allah (S.W) and prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) is his messenger. Secondly observe 5 daily prayers , Thirdly alms-giving (zakat). And then fasting during the holy month of Ramadan as well as performing pilgrimage (hajj). Going back on my point of Islamic teachings on Economic affairs and the aspect of Zakat it makes it obligatory for Muslims who are financially affluent to pay 2.5% of their total income each year to the poor. Without which once faith is not complete.
6) .The other Islamic teaching of humanity is Service: service to others and Helping others with their needs is considered as an act of worship and righteousness that comes with a tremendous rewards from Allah both in this world and in hereafter.
Based on this teachings prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) was the best role model of humanity. He declared that all humans are equal in the eyes of God, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or social status. He challenged the prevailing tribal hierarchies and sought to eliminate discrimination and injustice. Despite his elevated status as a prophet, Muhammad (PBUH) led a life of simplicity and humility. Therefore, as Muslims we are guided to follow his footsteps and live the way he lived.
When it comes to twenty first century and the people who have played a role in humanity I must mention Mother Teresa, as a perfect example who thought about humanity and worked for it. Not all humans can portray humanity.
Only human beings have the power to comprehend humanity. We don’t need a lot of money for humanitarian tasks. Giving a glass of water to a thirsty man or helping someone to cross the road is also a humanitarian task.
Humanitarian activities should not be done for fame or for a reward in return. It should be done as a part of our nature and duty. When we perform such activities, we get inner peace and blessings from the person whom we helped.
Every religion teaches us humanity, love, and care. And there is no religion above humanity. This is the reason we often hear people saying that humanity is the best component of their religion.
We should offer people our assistance irrespective of caste, creed, religion, and region.
Being human is our first identity. So we must comprehend humanity in our day to day lives as it is a reason behind our existence. Just remember as Will Rodgers once said "It’s great to be great, but it’s greater to be human.".
