It is during these times that charity matters most.   Indeed, God says to the believers in the Holy Quran: “And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient.” [2:155] We all experience tragedy and difficulty and loss, albeit in varying degrees of intensity. Just as we are blessed in different ways, we are tested in different ways as well.
